Today was a pretty good Monday. It started off very well when my radio went off and it was Seasons of Love! I was so confused because when did Q104 start playing Showtunes.. LOL. I figured it was just a commercial since Rent will be here in a few weeks, but it was the entire song. They gave away tickets so that's why they played it. But that a nice way to start off the day! I had my quiz in Patho (we have quizzes every class). It was pretty easy. My prof reviewed alot of the stuff we needed to know before the quiz. It's kinda like I'm back in high school.. haha. Then I went to the computer lab and played around with MySpace and such for a while. And speaking of MySpace they were talking about it on 104 this morning. I chuckled. It's everywhere!
And I almost got into two accidents today and I think we all know whose fault it was! First I heard CBTY on 98.1. It's been a few weeks since I've heard it in the car So yeah.. got a little excited. Then about 20 mins later "Big Poppa" came on. I think I got more excited then when CBTY came on. Yes, I have issues.. LOL. |

This weekend was alright. Emily and I saw Walk The Line yesterday. It was GREAT as expected. That movie better win a bunch of Oscars as well as Reese and Jaoquin.
Today was just a lazy day. I did some studying and then watched some football. And how good is Grey's Anatomy? "He's still McDreamy" *sigh* |

Classes went pretty well today. Of course I wake up and get ready and put my watch on and the battery is dead! So I had to go through three entire classes without knowing what time it was because the projection screen was covering the clock. I was so annoyed! lol But besides that, classes were fine. You will not believe what I had in my Health Data Documention class. My teacher gave us the final exam! Yep.. you heard right. She was babbling how they did a study in Japan about giving students final exams... that's why they are so smart or something. Because they know to pay more attention in class or whatever.. LOL. So my teacher tried it on us. Well I got about 50% right. I think that's pretty damn good for the first day of class. My second class was a Health Statistics class. It doesn't seem too bad. I always enjoyed Math so it should be pretty easy. Then my last class was my Coding class. I think this is going to be the hardest one.
I had to run a few errands after school to a few banks and the drycleaners. It was raining...such a mess. But ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) emilyrx03 will get a kick out of this. My windows turned foggy and guess what shows up?? Your BSB graffiti is back on my passenger window! I think it's permanently there now.. LMAO! I did chuckle a bit. ;)

Classes start tomorrow. So it's back to studying. Woo-hoo! This is going to be a pretty hard semester. I'm taking 5 classes; 4 are major classes and then one science class: Pathophysiology. It's about how diseases happen in your body so it should be quite interesting. I bought pepper spray today. So watch out! lol I'm going to be at the Metro (downtown) campus till 3 on Tuesdays and 5 on Thursdays so it's better to be safe than sorry.
I was a little under the weather this past weekend. I was sneezing all day on Saturday with a runny nose. So I knew a cold was coming. But I took some Zicam and it actually worked! My tummy is still a little weird, but besides that I only sneezed twice today. Thank god it didn't become a bad cold or the flu. My colds used to always end up in the flu.
MySpace is still evil. I've stayed up way too late the past week or so just searching on that damn site. It's ridiculous.. lol. But now it's a school night so I can't stay on too late. ;)
Oh, and Emily.. you can feel safe in the Jetta now. The new windshield wipers are on!! |

My schedule is so whacked. I've been staying up way too late the past few weeks. I go to bed around 2am, and can't fall asleep until 3am or after. Then I sleep until noon. I know it's insane, but I can't help it! lol I did the same thing during breaks at Kent, but then I was the 20 year old college student and it was 'alright'. Now I just feel like a bum.. lol. Well I have one more week to get out of this whack job schedule.
4 weeks of winter break is actually too much. I'm bored, I'd rather start classes this week. Yes, I am insane.. LOL.
I actually read a book last week. Yes, I'm shocked too. I borrowed Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants from Kim. I saw the movie and loved it so I figured I could read the book. It was a little different than the movie. And it was a very quick read b/c it is a young adult book. ;)
And I'm actually cooking a meal tomorrow night. I got one of Rachael Ray's cookbooks from the library. It's called Broccoli and Bowties. It seems easy enough. I'm actually excited. I watch the Food Channel all the time, and think I would really like cooking.. except I've just never really done it.. LOL. So this should be interesting.

I hope everyone had a great start to the new year! Emily was my date as usual. It started off with a very funny story. I picked her up at 6:45 and honked the horn. Well a few minutes later her dad comes out and opens up my back door. Her parents were getting picked up and he thought it was their friends' car! It was highly amusing. Her mom came out and we were both laughing very hard. Emily enjoyed it to when she finally got in the car.
We went to Don Pablo's for dinner and it was quite yummy as usual. And since it was NYE we went all out and both got dessert. I got fried ice cream. It was very good and I was determined to eat it all.. well most of it. And man.. we sure felt it. (Emily was determind to finish hers too). It hurt to stand, it hurt to walk, it hurt to sit.. yeah.. we weren't doing too well. And man.. it was the worst when we got into our laughing fits.
We had a nice surprise when Bon Jovi was on Dick Clark's Rockin NYE. Emily somehow got up and danced but I just sat on the couch.. I could barely move. Dick did really good. I was surprised how much he was talking. I was just expecting him to say 'Happy New Year' at midnight, but he did alot more.
Today I put all my BSB pics in the album. That thing is FULL! It barely closes.. LOL. And speaking of them... AJ and Kaci? I know pictures don't always tell the full story, but sheesh.. she's 17. *smacks AJ* At least Nick makes sure his girls are legal first! aka... "How old are you guys?" lol
Anyways.. HAPPY NEW YEAR! And have a great start to the week. |

Emily and I saw Rent again Saturday night. And apparently we were singing too loud because the couple in front of us moved.. LOL. Although we were hardly singing outloud so who knows?? I was glad Christmas was on a Sunday because I'm usually very lazy on Sunday anyways so it was like just any other day. I went through all my BSB pics from the year and got them in order. The stack is HUGE! lol It was very fun looking at everything though. It was quite a year. I should have them in an album by the end of the week.
I won a MP3 player on Ebay tonight. I was so excited. I've been trying to win this one since last week but kept getting outbidded. Well this one was mine! I got it for $50, it sells for $99.99 at Best Buy. So I think that's quite a deal. It's just a small one that holds about 120 songs.
I made a list of some employment agencies to call tomorrow to see if they have any temp jobs available the next few weeks. I'd like to make some $$$. I do miss getting my paycheck every 2 weeks, but this is something that had to be done. It will be well worth it in the end!

That is what I screamed earlier tonight. I was watching tv in the family room and all of a sudden I hear a large BOOM! The house literally shook. My parents were in the kitchen and we all screamed. I really thought the roof caved in upstairs so I ran up there but luckily found nothing. But my brother went outside and saw that our entire gutter on the back side of my house fell off and landed on the roof of the family room. So we went upstairs to my parents room to look out the window to see the damage and there are HUGE ice blocks on the roof (that were in the gutters). That's what caused it to fall off. I told my parents that is going to fall into the family room, but they think I'm just worrying. Ummmm.. ok. God only knows how heavy that ice is along with the entire gutter. Thank god the gutter didn't fall on the ground completely or it would have landed right on the Jetta. So I moved the Jetta near the side door so if it does fall in the middle of the night nothing will happen. My dad called some roof guy, but of course with the holidays they won't be out until next week. OY VEY! |

Mandy: You have the wrong number.
girl: Do you know where he moved to?
*Mandy hangs up*
OMG.. I had to hang up or I might have started laughing at her. I know it's not funny, but I couldn't believe this little conversation we had. Did she not here me say, 'You have the wrong number'. Way too much information shared with a complete stranger! lol

Emily called me up from Beachwood Place this afternoon to let me know the sweater I've been eyeing from Express was on sale for $19.50. The sign said 'today only' so I went up there later this afternoon. The mall wasn't as packed as I thought it would be. Just the traffic near the mall was a little insane. But I got the sweater. It's a brown hoodie. So cute! :)

Everybody from Houston was at these awards tonight. Those 10 mins of Lifehouse, Gavin and the boys.. way too much excitement going on. Nick and Brian looked so good. Didn't really see Dwayne.. LOL. I'd still like to know how they got psychotic Brian to go to Vegas six days before Christmas.
And I'd like to thank the boys.. especially Nick because I got a 96 on my Lab Exam I took the day after we got back. It must have been that good luck of the elevator.. hehe. :)
Kiss was broadcasting live from Vegas this afternoon so I decided to listen because I thought maybe they would interview Carter. Well I got a nice surprise instead. They interviewed JC!! I nearly fell off the couch.. was not expecting that one.. LOL. He said his album will be done this week and the single will be out after the first of the year. Yay!
Well I am officially done with school this semester. My Anatomy final went alright. I probably got a low B/high C. Fine with me. I guess I will call up a few temp agencies to see if they have anything these next few weeks, but I'm not expecting too much because of the holidays.
Oh, I sold back one of my computer books today at the bookstore. I got $25 back. I was expecting $10 so that was exciting! |

So my bedroom is like an icicle. The furnace guy came a few weeks ago and did something with my register and it was a little warmer. But not too much. My cousin mentioned to my mom last year about getting flannel sheets from Land's End. Well god knows why it took a year to get them, but we ordered them a few weeks ago and I just put them on my bed this weekend. OMG... they are the best things ever. They are so soft and so warm. It's so hard to get out of my bed.. it's so comfy.. LOL.
We had an early Chanukah today at my house. My aunt and uncle came in from Ytown and my cousins came over. It was very nice. Always yummy eating latkes.. hehe. :) I helped mom make them yesterday.
Tomorrow is my last final.. Anatomy. Let's just say it was very hard to study for this one because it is mathematically impossible for me to get an A and I can still fail this test and still get a B. So yeah.. as you can tell I don't really care much about this exam. I studied a few hours yesterday and a few hours today.
Well I think I'm pretty much back to normal after being in my funk last week. I know it was ridiculous why I was depressed. Good thing it only lasted a few days.
